Coffee

This is how I make coffee.

Equipment:
Coffee Grinder, Cuisinart DBM-8 Supreme Grind Automatic Burr Mill
Drip Coffee Maker: Cuisinart DTC-975BKN

Notes: Most people have a drip coffee maker. If yours has a glass carafe, after brewing cycle is complete pour coffee into a thermal carafe. Keeping your coffee in the glass carafe, directly on the heat source will burn your coffee.

Notes: I divide and store my coffee beans in the freezer (large bags, as air tight as possible) and the fridge (2-3 days worth in sealing glass jars). How you store your beans is debatable - freezer, fridge, cupboard, to me it doesn't matter. Do what gets you the best results.

Notes: All equipment is clean! If not, you better clean it.

Fill water resevoir with 36 oz. distilled water at room temperature.
Grind 1/3 cup beans at medium setting on a burr mill (or 15 seconds with a blade grinder). Grounds should resemble granulated sugar.
Place grounds into basket filter. Close basket and resevoir. Turn machine on.

That's all there is to great coffee!
